Archive One Capture Bagged 2nd Prize in Azure AI Hackathon
In partnership with Microsoft, HackerEarth hosted Azure AI Hackathon which commenced on March 15, 2019 and ended on April 22, 2019. The hackathon was joined by 589 teams of professional developers coming from South East Asia, South Korea, and New Zealand.
The challenge was to “Unleash the power of Microsoft AI’s Cognitive Services to build an app that can see, hear, speak, understand, and interpret your user's needs” using the following:
Vision API: Image-processing algorithms that smartly identify, caption, index, and moderate your pictures and videos.
Speech API: Converts spoken audio into text, use voice for verification, or add speech recognition to your app.
Language API: Allows your apps to process natural language with pre-built scripts, evaluate sentiment and learn how to recognize what users want.
This project focuses on easier data retrieval enabling businesses to make more informed decisions with the help of Automatic Document Indexing and Classification. With Machine Learning technology, Archive One Capture gets better with regular use as it remembers data from every captured document, enhancing the classification accuracy and speed. Removing this burden from staff not only improves the capture of business data and records, but also enables them to easily retrieve documents whenever the need arises.
Congratulations, Paperless Trail (Archive One) Dev Team and to the other teams!
